BHS STAGE 1 AND STAGE 2
HORSE CARE REVISION DAY

25th April 2006

These days are designed for candidates wishing to take the BHS Stage1 and Stage 2 Horse Care exams, or for people who simply wish to improve their Horse Care knowledge.

The Courses cover the standards and requirements of the BHS Stage 1 and Stage 2 Horse Care, they do not include riding, anyone wishing to take the Riding exam may arrange lessons independently of the course through S.E.C.

The courses include: -

Points of the Horse, Fittening
Daily Routine, Rugs/Rugging up
Feeding and Watering, Bandaging
Health Care, Trimming and Clipping
Grooming, Anatomy and Physiology
Shoeing, Lungeing

There will not be an exam at the end of these courses. If you would like to take the Stage 1 or Stage 2 exam please contact the British Horse Society for details of exam centres and dates.

The courses will take one day to complete and will run from 10.00 am to 4.15 pm.
The cost of a day course will be £75. The price also includes Tea/Coffee and a Buffet lunch.
